1. A method for no break power transfer in a variable frequency power generating system, the power generating system comprising a first bus connected to a first generator and a second bus connected to a second generator, the method comprising:
configuring a power transfer device to output power to the second bus that is synchronized to match a voltage and a frequency of the second bus; reconfiguring the power transfer device to output power to the second bus that is synchronized to match a voltage and a frequency of the first bus; and closing a tie switch located between the first bus and the second bus; wherein configuring the power transfer device to output power to the second bus that is synchronized to match the voltage and the frequency of the second bus comprises:
contacting an input switch of the power transfer device to the first bus;configuring an inverter of the power transfer device to output power that is synchronized to match the voltage and frequency of power the second bus;contacting an output switch of the power transfer device to the second bus; andopening a generator line contactor located between the second generator and the second bus.
