PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus capable of realizing space saving installation in comparison with a prior art, and further to provide an installation method of the magnetic resonance imaging apparatus.SOLUTION: A magnetic resonance imaging apparatus comprises: a frame 6 being installed inside a shield room R1 and having a static magnetic field magnet, a gradient magnetic field coil and an RF coil; a bed 13 placed with an examinee; and at least one unit related to control of the magnetic resonance imaging apparatus.
