1. A throttle valve for limiting a maximum opening of a control valve that controls a process valve, the throttle valve comprising:
a valve seat; a valve member, wherein the valve member is translated to a desired position in such a way that a minimum passage of a fluid, sufficient for controlling an actuation of the process valve, is ensured in each position of the valve member; and a housing, wherein the housing is provided in a line that is directly or indirectly connected to a control valve and the line is provided between a compressed air source for the control valve and the control valve, or between the control valve and an exhaust-air outlet, or between the control valve and a process valve.
