The present invention provides a method for isolating humic acid, the method comprising a) a step for obtaining a supernatant by neutralizing a first liquid mixture composed of coal and an acid solution and then filtering the first liquid mixture; and b) a step for separating a liquid from a solid by filtering a second liquid mixture composed of the powder prepared by drying the obtained supernatant and a buffer solution.
