In a service providing system which provides communication among a plurality of users, an acquaintance is registered as a communication target user without using text-based information about the acquaintance. A user extraction unit (104) extracts, when image data which is indicated from a terminal of a first user among the plurality of users is inputted, a user having image data which is similar to the inputted image data in the user information (112) as a registration user candidate who is a candidate of a user registered as a communication target by the first user, from the plurality of users, and outputs the extracted user to the terminal of the first user. |
