1. A machine-executable method comprising:
determining an initiation point and a duration of a measurement gap that permits a user equipment to perform measurements; allocating an uplink resource of a communication link to the user equipment prior to the initiation point of the measurement gap by scheduling an uplink transmission; and determining, at least in part based on whether the uplink resource is allocated within a predetermined period prior to the initiation point of the measurement gap, reception of the uplink transmission to commence beyond the time period of the measurement gap. |
