PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weft inserting system for a projectile loom with a weft insertion speed that is competitive with currently known-type looms in a market.SOLUTION: In a weft insertion system for a projectile loom, a projectile 1 is shot to a shed by a mechanical behavior of a thrust member with alternate periodic behaviors. The thrust member consists of a rack R driven by multiple gears D.
