The present invention relates to a method and a device for detecting a beam of a radar array antenna which can detect a target by receiving a beam from a radar array antenna mounted in a vehicle, acquiring vehicle-related information such as lane information, yaw rate information, and clutter position information, selectively adding weight to a received signal of each channel of the array antenna according to the vehicle-related information, and combining the weighted received signals. The device for detecting a beam of a radar array antenna comprises: a radar signal transmission unit to transmit a radar signal; a radar signal reception unit to receive a reflected radar signal which is the transmitted radar signal returned after being reflected from a target; a beam steering unit to perform beam steering of the reflected radar signal through a phase shift; a vehicle information acquisition unit to acquire the vehicle-related information from the reflected radar signal; a weighting unit to selectively add weight to the reflected radar signal of each channel according to the vehicle-related information; and a target detection unit to detect the target by combining the weighted reflected radar signals of the respective channels. |
