摘要 <p>The present invention relates to a dental implant including an abutment having a nitrogen-doped titania nanotube coating layer and a method for treating the surface of the same. By means of the dental implant of the present invention, the elution time and elution amount of an antibiotic having an antibacterial activity can be regulated, so that the surroundings of the implant can be prevented from microbism even after the implant is implanted in the gum. Also, alveolar bone reduction and implant loss caused by microbism can be prevented. Moreover, when the method for treating the surface of the dental implant of the present invention is used, the elution time and elution amount of drugs can be effectively regulated, and drugs can be effectively transferred to a target region. Accordingly, the side effects of the antibiotic can be minimized, and microbism can be effectively prevented during implant treatment. A nitrogen-doped titania nanotube is formed on the surface of the implant, so that an optical catalyst can be induced also by visible rays and side effects such as mucosal damage caused by ultraviolet rays can be resolved.</p>
