The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for authenticating attendance using a QR code on a mobile terminal. When a professor as a server manager generates a QR code for attendance on a Web LMS and transmits the generated QR code to a mobile terminal of students, the students log into a server through a smart device and read the proposed QR code, whereby attendance of the students who read the QR code is authenticated.
