The present invention relates to a method for preparing allyl alcohol, which inputs 0.8 to 2 equivalent of formic acid based on 1 equivalent of glycerol, raises the temperature at 2.0-7.0 °C/min, and reacts the same at 220 to 260°C of the reaction temperature, and to the allyl alcohol prepared thereby. Accordingly, the present invention can provide the method for preparing allyl alcohol of high yield without addition of a catalyst. |
