摘要 This invention discloses an electrode material comprising: catalyst particles formed by coating, with a porous inorganic material, a conductive support and metal particles arranged on the conductive support, wherein a combination of the metal particles and the porous inorganic material that coats the metal particles is: Pt and SiO2; Pd and SiO2 or a titania-silica composite oxide; Rh and SiO2 or ZrO2; and Au and SiO2 or any combination thereof. Also disclosed is a method for producing an electrode material according to the invention. The electrode material according to the invention is useful in fuel cells, sensors, and the like.
