PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retractor for a seat belt which can reduce friction resistance in a thrust direction by suppressing axial deviation of a spindle by thrust force, and can reduce noise and wear.SOLUTION: A retractor 10 for a seat belt includes a first axis side magnet 71 and a second axis side magnet 72 arranged respectively on both end parts of a spindle 12. A first case side magnet 73 is arranged opposite to the first axis side magnet 71 on a winding spring cover 26 for housing a winding spring 25. A second case side magnet 74 is arranged opposite to the second axis magnet 72 on a system cover 19 for housing a lock mechanism 14. Both of opposing surfaces of the first axis side magnet 71 and the first case side magnet 73, and opposing surfaces of the second axis magnet 72 and the second case side magnet 74 are south poles or north poles. |
