PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prediction apparatus for predicting a value relating to an event which changes in time series, a prediction method, and a computer program.SOLUTION: A prediction apparatus includes: recording means which records in time series a value relating to an event which changes in time series, in association with item values relating to a plurality of relevant events relating to the event; means for logarithmically transforming the value relating to the event; means for applying secondary variable transformation to the item value with respect to the logarithmically transformed value; derivation means which derives strength of correlation by use of the value relating to the event and the item value transformed; and prediction means for calculating a prediction value relating to the event in a prediction period, on the basis of the strength of correlation derived.
