摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noise and crosstalk at a reduced manufacturing cost.SOLUTION: An optical module 10 includes: a TOSA 13; a ROSA 14; an I-shaped metal fitting 12; and EMI-absorbing putties 11a to 11d. The TOSA 13 holds an optical fiber on the transmission module side. The ROSA 14 holds an optical fiber on the reception module side. The I-shaped metal fitting 12 is provided between the TOSA 13 and the ROSA 14 so as to be parallel with side surfaces of the TOSA 13 and the ROSA 14. The EMI-absorbing putty 11a is provided on a part of upper surfaces of the TOSA 13 and the ROSA 14, and the EMI-absorbing putty 11b is provided in a part between the TOSA 13 and the ROSA 14. EMI-absorbing putties 11c and 11d are provided on a part of upper and lower surfaces of the TOSA 13 and the ROSA 14 respectively. A part of the I-shaped metal fitting 12 is electrically connected to a part of the TOSA 13 or the ROSA 14 grounded to an enclosure of the optical module 10.</p>
