<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a disaster prevention facility by devising a structure and an arrangement of an elevated road, which is always conveniently usable and becomes an evacuation road, as a method for preventing the case that many human lives, houses and cars are pulled in the sea by a large-scale disaster by a Tsunami caused by the recent Sanriku open sea earthquake.SOLUTION: The elevated road is made on a wide road along seashore of a largely-damaged district by the recent Tsunami. Therefore, the people can quickly evacuate to safe places by cars. A wall having a shape of making a pushing-back flow by changing the flow direction of the Tsunami, is also made on both sides of a bridge pier. A pushing-up speed of the Tsunami onto the land is loosened, and a water quantity is also reduced. An entrance and an exit of the elevated road are made in the shape of playing the same role. The Tsunami is received at an artificial island made at the foot of a river mouth by using rubble generated by the recent earthquake disaster. If the water quantity of the landed Tsunami reduces, backwash force weakens, so that the damage is sharply reduced.</p> |
