<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transportation device or the like which transports a sheet-like object via a roller and is capable of achieving high speed and highly accurate transportation with control based on a rotation angle of the roller and suppressing an installation space to be relatively small.SOLUTION: A transportation device for a sheet-like transportation object includes: a roller which rotates with the movement of the sheet-like transportation object; a rotary encoder which detects the rotation angle of the roller and includes one slit disc and a plurality of photoelectric detectors; and a control part which controls the transportation of the sheet-like transportation object on the basis of the rotation angle detected by the rotary encoder. The control part performs the control by using a detection value outputted from any of the photoelectric detectors as the rotation angle detected by the rotary encoder, and switches the photoelectric detectors outputting the detection value used in the control in accordance with a transportation situation.</p> |
