PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a transporting interval of print media further while reducing a decrease in transporting accuracy of the print media.SOLUTION: A printer 10, including a first drive motor 51 for driving a supply roller 41, a separation roller 42 and an intermediate roller 44 (a transport roller), and a second drive motor 52 for driving a print roller 48 and a sheet output roller 49, performs separate transportation in a printing path and a transport path. The printer 10 performs feed-out precedent supply transportation for driving the first and second drive motors 51, 52 so as to perform: feed-out transportation for feeding a leading edge of a print medium P to the printing path from the transport path; and supply transportation for supplying the next print medium to the transport path from a body sheet supply cassette 56. |
