PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive device which can accurately move a linear body to its longitudinal direction, and is suppressed in the length of a drum even if a moving amount of the linear body is small and also even if the moving amount is large.SOLUTION: A drive source unit 30 adds drive force for making a wire 20 movable to its arrow directions D and E to the wire. The drive source unit 30 has a frame 30, two drums 32 and 33 which are pivoted to the frame 35 in a state where the drums are rotatable around their axial cores, and the axial cores are arranged in parallel to each other, and a motor 31 which adds rotation drive force around the axial core to the drum 32. The other drum 33 is rotated in synchronization with the drum 32 by being connected with the drum 32 by a timing belt 34. The wire 20 is alternately stretched to the drums 32 and 33 with less than one round of contact with each of the external peripheral faces of the drums. |
