PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow for demodulation or decoding by compensating nonlinear distortion at high speed.SOLUTION: In a transmitter, an acquisition unit acquires distortion information representing distortion of an information signal based on nonlinearity of a transmission path of the information signal, and a compensation unit compensates the information signal to be transmitted, so as to cancel the distortion of the information signal received, by using the distortion information thus acquired, and a transmission unit transmits distortion compensation information, representing the fact that the information signal is compensated, which is included in a control signal. |
