PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new immunity analysis and mapping technique available as a detection technique for an immunostaining method using nanoparticles as mass spectrometry probes in order to solve the problems that: when proteins and sugar chains of large molecular weight are present in a specimen having a complicated composition like biological tissue slices, the analysis is difficult, or when the target substance is present in an insulating membrane, the analysis is difficult due to low desorption ionization efficiency. ! SOLUTION: A nanoparticle with a function to be selectively coupled to a target substance added is used as a probe. The presence or distribution of the target substance is known by detecting ions and cluster ions desorption-ionized from the nanoparticle itself by means of mass spectrometry.
