Provided is an organic-inorganic hybrid compound having antifouling and antimicrobial properties and capable of being used to manufacture a membrane. The organic-inorganic hybrid compound comprises a polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane core; and at least one arm connected to at least one of Si atoms in the polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane, wherein the arm comprises a vinyl-based first structural unit comprising at least one ethylene oxide group in a side chain; and a vinyl-based second structural unit comprising at least one antimicrobial functional group in a side chain.
