PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle conveyance apparatus for X-ray inspection capable of inspecting vehicles from small to large ones and capable of performing X-ray inspection on a substantially whole vehicle by reducing a shadow area for X-rays due to X-ray vertical radiation and horizontal radiation.SOLUTION: A underground conveyance path 3 is provided below a travel floor 2 for a vehicle to be inspected, and a vertical penetrating groove 4 is provided at the center of the travel floor 2 in a width direction thereof, the groove extending in a travel direction and communicating with the underground conveyance path 3. A vehicle conveyance apparatus 10 for X-ray inspection comprises: travel rails 12 mounted in the underground conveyance path 3 and extending horizontally in a conveyance direction; a moving trolley 14 capable of moving along the travel rails 12; a lift bar 16 extending horizontally in the width direction across the vertical penetrating groove 4 above the travel floor 2 and positioned rearward from a rear end 14c of the moving trolley 14; an up-and-down support member 18 having a rear end portion 18a fixed to the lift bar 16 at its upper end and a front end portion 18b connected to the moving trolley 14; and an up-and-down drive mechanism 20 configured to move the rear end portion 18a up and down.
