PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bubble detection device capable of improving water repellency on the sensor inner wall surface by applying a fine periodic structure having a lotus effect, and heightening detection accuracy of bubbles because an electric flux line approximately passes through either of water and a bubble.SOLUTION: In a bubble detection device for detecting bubbles existing in liquid, a fine periodic structure 40 having a lotus effect is formed at least on a part of a sensor inner wall surface 30 through which bubbles which are detection objects pass.
