PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relay device capable of separating an abnormal network with a simple structure.SOLUTION: On receipt of a reception preparation instruction from a controller 5, a switching control unit 7 sets channels CH1-CH4 to a standby state in which all channels are made to be non-conductive, and on receipt of a frame detection report from a frame detection unit 6, switches to a relay state in which each valid channel having a validity flag set to be ON is made to be conductive. At this time, the controller 5 monitors a communication frame received through a transceiver 4, and on completion of receiving the communication frame, transmits a reception preparation instruction to the switching control unit 7 to restore the channels to the standby state, and obtains an error occurrence rate of the communication frame. When the error occurrence rate satisfies a disconnection condition, the controller 5 transmits a disconnection instruction to the switching control unit 7 to control the state (valid/invalid) of each channel. |
