PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge circuit for a secondary battery or the like capable of surely preventing overdischarge of the secondary battery.SOLUTION: A discharge circuit 1 for a secondary battery B comprises: a discharge element R which is connected between terminals of the secondary battery B; a switch element S which is connected between terminals of the secondary circuit B in series with the discharge element R and controls a current flowing in the discharge element R; and one or more unidirectional elements D which are connected between terminals of the secondary battery B in series with the discharge element R and the switch element S and have a forward voltage threshold equal to or higher than a discharge final voltage of the secondary battery B. The unidirectional element D is formed by using a diode (d) or a light-emitting diode led. The discharge circuit 1 is applicable to e.g., a balance correction circuit 70 for correcting cell balance of a battery pack formed from a plurality of secondary batteries B1-Bn.
