PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector which is further miniaturized as compared with an electric connector disclosed in the patent document 1.SOLUTION: An electric connector 1 includes: contacts 2; a housing 3 holding the contacts 2; and a cylindrical shell 7 which covers the housing 3 from the outside and has first holding legs 6 inserted into first holding holes 5 of a connector mounted substrate 4. The shell 7 is cylindrical by bending a metal plate and fitting a convex part 8 formed at one end into a concave part 9 formed at the other end. A joint 10 of the shell 7 is positioned opposite to the connector mounted substrate 4. In the convex parts 8 at the joint 10 of the shell 7, second holding legs 12 are formed which are inserted into second holding holes 11 of the connector mounted substrate 4. |
