<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emergency evacuation elevator for tenant of a social welfare institution which allows all tenants who use a bed or a wheelchair to be transported to a rooftop efficiently at short time surely for evacuation, when tidal wave or flood occurs.SOLUTION: The emergency evacuation elevator is used for transporting tenants who use a bed B or a wheelchair K to a rooftop O of the building for evacuation from tidal wave. The elevator comprises at least: a pole frame body 1 whose upper part is opening and which is disposed on an emergency stairway H or a veranda V of the building in a standing state; an elevator cage 2 having a multistep-state floor 21 which is disposed so as to be lifted up and down in an inside of the pole frame body 1, and coping with each stair and an intermediate floor 22; and pulling up means 3 for pulling up the elevator cage 2.</p> |
