PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve opening pressure inspection device for a ventilation control valve capable of shortening the time from the compression of a valve body to the completion of inspection of the ventilation control valve, and a valve opening pressure inspection method.SOLUTION: A valve opening pressure inspection method for a ventilation control valve employing a valve body that is formed from an elastic member includes: a measurement step (step S2) for measuring a valve opening pressure of the ventilation control valve and measuring a temperature of the valve body at a valve opening pressure measurement time in which the valve opening pressure is measured; a lapse-of-time calculation step (step S3) for calculating a lapse of time from a compression time in which the valve body is compressed to the valve opening pressure measurement time; and an inspection step (step S4) for inspecting whether the valve opening pressure that is measured in the measurement step is proper with respect to the temperature of the valve body that is measured in the measurement step and the lapse of time that is calculated in the lapse-of-time calculation step on the basis of a prepared relation between the lapse of time from the compression time to the valve opening pressure measurement time and the valve opening pressure for each of the temperatures of the valve body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
