<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission device of which the monitoring function is improved, and a monitoring method.SOLUTION: The transmission device comprises: a generation part for generating a monitor packet which monitors the inside of the device by passing through a transmission route of a user packet; a plurality of buffers 3 for storing the user packet and the monitor packet; a write processing part 1 which applies an identifier corresponding to a position of data within the monitor packet to each of a plurality of data obtained by dividing the monitor packet and writes the plurality of data into the plurality of buffers 3, respectively; a read processing part 2 which reads the user packet and the plurality of data from the plurality of buffers 3, respectively; and a restoration processing part 5 for restoring the monitor packet from the plurality of data read out by the read processing part on the basis of the identifier.</p> |
