PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work operation regulating system for performing a desired work without any trouble by calibrating the relation between a reference axis direction of a tool mounted on a robot and a tool moving direction at the time when the robot is caused to perform a predetermined working operation, by using a relatively simple measurement mechanism.SOLUTION: A work operation regulating system comprises: tool axis direction measuring means 6 for measuring a reference axis direction of a tool when a robot 5 is at a predetermined position; tool moving direction measuring means 7 for measuring a tool moving direction at the time when the robot 5 in the predetermined position is caused to perform a work operation; and direction relation calibrating means 8 for calibrating the relation between the reference axis direction measured by the tool axial direction measuring means 6 and the tool moving direction measured by the tool moving direction measuring means 7. |
