PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid leakage from a closed space formed between lap parts of both scroll bodies and biting between the lap parts in a seal region in the spiral direction of the lap parts. ! SOLUTION: In a seal region in the spiral direction of lap parts 34, 42 served to form a closed space cs, namely, in a range from an A-point or a C-point of a center side region to a B-point or a D-point located at the outer peripheral end, a seal film 76 formed of an elastic material adheres onto one of the side faces of the two lap parts 34, 42 which are arranged opposing each other to form the closed space cs. The film thickness of the seal film 76 is not smaller than a maximum gap formed between the two lap parts 34, 42. Inside the seal film 76, cavities are formed.
