PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure a desired transmission output of an antenna, while suppressing such costs as pecuniary loss or labor, in an on-vehicle communication device where an antenna module located at a physically remote place and a radio communication device are connected by a coaxial cable.SOLUTION: A current detecting section 24 detects the current consumption value of an amplifier 12 for transmission, from a power supply for supplying from the power supply generating section 21 of a radio communication device 2 to the amplifier 12 for transmission. In the memory 25 of the radio communication device 2, correspondence of the current consumption value of an amplifier 12 for transmission and the output power value thereof is held previously. On the basis of the current consumption value detected in the current detecting section 24, the output power value of the amplifier 12 for transmission is grasped with reference to the correspondence. A set value changing section 224 adjusts a transmission signal generated in a transmitting section 221, so that the output power value has a desired power value. |
