PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sludge coagulation apparatus capable of effective coagulation and energy saving.SOLUTION: The sludge coagulation apparatus includes: a first coagulation device 40 which agitates and coagulates a mixed sludge including sludge supplied from a sludge storage tank 10, impregnated with solution of a first polymer coagulant supplied from first chemical feeding means 70; a second coagulation device 80 which coagulates a mixed sludge including the mixed sludge mixed and agitated by the first coagulation device 40, impregnated with solution of a second polymer coagulant supplied from second chemical feeding means 90, at an agitation speed slower than that of the first coagulation device 40, so as to form coagulated floc as coagulated sludge; and a sludge dehydrator 100 which dehydrates the coagulated sludge supplied from the second coagulation device 80. The first coagulation device 40 includes a powered agitator 50 which agitates mixed sludge and a non-powered agitation mechanism 60 which is disposed upstream the powered agitator 50. Due to installation of the non-powered agitation mechanism 60 along with the powered agitator 50, the effect of agitation of mixed sludge is enhanced. |
