PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic control device for enabling a control part to initiatively stop power supply to itself while suppressing an increase in the number of terminals in the control part.SOLUTION: A power control device 1 includes: a microcomputer 6; a regulator 51 for performing power supply and the stop of power supply to the microcomputer 6; and a monitoring part (55) configured to monitor the operation of the microcomputer 6 for starting the measurement of time when a clear signal is output from the microcomputer 6, and for resetting the microcomputer 6 when the measured time reaches a preliminarily set value. The microcomputer 6 outputs the clear signal to the monitoring part 55 when the stop conditions of power supply to the microcomputer 6 itself are not established, and changes the configuration of the clear signal and outputs it as a stop signal to the monitoring part 55 when the stop conditions of power supply to the microcomputer 6 itself are established. The monitoring part 55 clears the measured time and newly starts the measurement of time when the clear signal is output, and allows the regulator 51 to stop power supply to the microcomputer 6 when the stop signal is output. |
