<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce occurrence of standby time for a print process based on a print job, caused by shortage of a spare zone in a storage medium in an image forming apparatus for use in printing based on the print job stored in the storage medium.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 1 capable of forming an image based on a print job stored in a print job storage part 133, performs: determining a threshold of a spare zone of the print job storage part 133 on the basis of each respective job size of print jobs stored in the print job storage part 133; and deleting, in a case where a size of the spare zone of the print job storage part 133 is smaller than the determined threshold, a print job or jobs from among the print jobs stored in the print job storage part 133 in a predetermined order until the size of the spare zone of the print job storage part 133 reaches or exceeds the threshold.</p> |
