PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dryer that can maintain stable operation of a fluidized bed-drying apparatus, when switching combustion of a coke oven.SOLUTION: A dryer 100 includes: a stack 20 for discharging to the atmosphere a flue gas of a coke oven 10 supplied from a flue-gas duct 11; a fluidized bed-drying apparatus 30 that brings a wet raw material into contact with the flue gas to dry the wet raw material for a dry matter; and a duct 21 for supplying the flue gas to the fluidized bed-drying apparatus 30. The duct 21 is connected with a lower part of the stack 20 and supplies the flue gas in the stack 20 to the fluidized bed-drying apparatus 30.
