PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability in a fixing device configured to freely rotatably support a fixing belt at both ends of the fixing belt by a support member.SOLUTION: In a fixing part 30, a pressing roller 140 is disposed inside the circulation path of an endless fixing belt 150 induction-heated by a magnetic flux generating part 200, the pressing roller 140 is pressed through the fixing belt 150 by a pressure roller 180 disposed outside the circulation path of the fixing belt 150, to form a fixing nip, and a recording sheet on which an unfixed image is formed passes through the fixing nip, for thermal fixation. A pair of belt support members 162 including rotary shafts respectively and inserted into the fixing belt 150, to freely rotatably support the fixing belt 150 are disposed at both ends of the fixing belt 150 in its width direction. The belt support members 162 have elasticity and support the fixing belt 150 in a freely slidable manner in the width direction. |
