PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector capable of reducing an insertion load and reducing wearing of a contact part by reducing frictional resistance when inserting a male terminal into a female terminal.SOLUTION: A connector comprises: a pin-shaped male terminal 20; and a female terminal 10 formed from a coil spring 15 of which an inner diameter d0 is set smaller than an outer diameter D of the male terminal 20 in a free state and allows the insertion of the male terminal by being elastically deformed so as to enlarge the inner diameter d1 larger than the outer diameter of the male terminal through diameter enlarging operation. The female terminal and the male terminal include an engaging piece 16 and an engaging groove 26 which performs a cam action, as diameter enlarging operation means for elastically enlarging the diameter of the coil spring by compressing and twisting the coil spring with the inserting operation of the male terminal to the coil spring and reducing the diameter of the coil spring with an elastic restoration force by canceling the enlargement of the diameter with the completion of the insertion. |
