PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide cover glass with a scattering prevention film, from the end face of which glass pieces are restrained effectively from being scattered when the cover glass is broken. ! SOLUTION: The cover glass 1 with the scattering prevention film has the cover glass 2 for displays, and the scattering prevention film 3 formed on the end face of the cover glass 2. A production method of the cover glass 1 comprises the steps of: forming a coating film of a resin composition, and the coating film becomes the scattering prevention film on the end face of the cover glass 2; and curing the formed coating film to form the scattering prevention film.
