A pad detachment apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a transferring unit which transfers a carrier for a glass plate; a winding unit which detaches a pad, which is laminated on the upper side of the carrier for the glass plate, from the carrier by winding the same; and a clamping unit combined with the winding unit to fixate the end of the pad to the winding unit. According to the present invention, a work of detaching the pad from the carrier after the completion of a glass plate polishing process can be easily and rapidly processed. The carrier with a new pad can be more rapidly supplied to a process line since the pad is rapidly detached, thereby enhancing the efficiency of the entire glass plate polishing process. |
