PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy to handle non-halogen flame-retardant electric cable excellent in terms of oil resistance.SOLUTION: In a non-halogen flame-retardant electric cable equipped with: a conductor; and one or multiple insulating layers formed by coating a non-halogen flame-retardant resin composition on the outer circumference of the conductor, the non-halogen flame-retardant resin composition constituting, in a case where a singular layer is provided as the insulating layer, the singular insulating layer or, in a case where a plurality of the insulating layers is provided, the outermost insulating layer positioned on the outermost side thereof includes: a base polymer including either an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA) having a vinyl acetate content (VA content) of 25 mass% or above or a polyethylene (PE) exhibiting a melting point peak of 115 to 140°C according to the differential scanning calorimetric measurement (DSC) method; and 150-300 pts.mass of a metal hydroxide with respect to 100 pts.mass of the base polymer, and the singular insulating layer or the outermost insulating layer yields a mass variation ratio of 420% or less after immersion within xylene heated at 110°C for 24 hours. |
