PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further suppress noise and vibration in a steam valve.SOLUTION: In a steam valve, a seat-side convex curved face 35b of a valving element 30 satisfies a relationship of Rv<Rs when an average radius of curvature from a starting end portion 35c to a terminal end portion 35a at the upstream side in a flowing direction of steam is denoted by Rv, and a radius of curvature of a valve seat-side convex curved face 26a is denoted by Rs. The seat-side convex face 35b is formed of an upstream-side curved face 36 and a downstream-side curved face 37, and the seat-side convex curved face 35b has a butting region 35s butting to a valve seat portion 26, and satisfies a relationship of Rs<R1, when a radius of curvature of the downstream-side curved face 37 is denoted by R1, and a radius of curvature in the flowing direction of the steam is denoted by Rs. |
