According to an embodiment of the present invention, a tamping machine easily tamps coffee powder with minimum power by using a lever and tamps the surface of the coffee powder, thereby maintaining the quality of coffee. In the present invention, disclosed is a tamping machine, comprising a tamper which tamps coffee powder stored in a portafilter by a bottom surface; a tamper supporting part with the fixed tamper which moves upwards and downwards along with a guide rod; a lever fixing part which is fixed and connected to the guide rod over the upper tamper supporting part; a lever part which is connected to the tamper supporting part via a connection bar and is connected to the lever fixing part by a hinge; and an elastic member whose upper end part is connected to the lever fixing part and lower end part is connected to the tamper supporting part wherein the tamper supporting part mutually connected to the guide rod via the connection bar can move downward along with the guide rod by rotating the lever part downward; and can move upward along with the guide rod by elasticity of the elastic member. |
