PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record a hologram required for reproduction of a subject using light of a low coherency.SOLUTION: A recording apparatus 10 of an embodiment of the present invention includes, on a single optical path: a spatial light modulator 12 for making the wavefront shape of a first-component light different from that of a second-component light; a polarization division element 11 for generating a spatially and periodically varying distribution in a phase shift amount; a polarizer 13 for varying the polarization directions of the first-component light and second-component light; and an imaging apparatus 14 for recording a hologram. |
