<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for driving and operating a solar shading device in which an operating force can be reduced and stabilized when lifting/lowering a solar shading material.SOLUTION: An apparatus includes a cylindrical rotary input member 15, an output member 27, and a cylindrical or coiled torque limiter for limiting a transmitted rotation torque to a predetermined value or less. The rotary input member includes a rotary input part for applying a rotation torque to a rotary input member, and an inside engagement part provided in an inner circumferential surface of the rotary input member. The output member includes a spindle insertion tube 27a for insertion of a spindle for rotatably supporting the output member. The spindle insertion tube is inserted into the torque limiter. The torque limiter includes an input side engagement part engaged with the inside engagement part, and a torque transmission part for transmitting the rotation torque applied to the input side engagement part to the output member when the rotation torque is equal to a predetermined value or less. A collar member 35 is provided which suppresses deformation to the inside in a radial direction of the spindle insertion tube caused by the rotation torque transmitted to the output member from the torque limiter.</p> |
