PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the precision of a position to fix a magnet to a rotor core.SOLUTION: A magnet fixing device 1 is configured as follows to fix a magnet 3 into each of a plurality of magnet insertion holes 4 formed in a rotor core 2 of a rotary electric machine. Namely, the magnet fixing device 1 comprises a hold mechanism 6 for holding the rotor core 2 in a rotationally displaceable manner while keeping a center axis O of the rotor core 2 horizontal in the state where the magnet 3 is inserted into the magnet insertion hole 4. The magnet fixing device 1 also comprises a filling mechanism 7 for filling a gap between the magnet insertion hole 4 and the magnet 3 with a resin 10 at a predetermined rotation angle position of the rotor core 2 held by the hold mechanism 6.
