PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical magnetic field type electrode which achieves both an increase in the magnetic field intensity and reduction in energization resistance.SOLUTION: A plurality of slits inclined in the axial direction of a cylindrical-shaped conductor are provided on the side surface of the cylindrical-shaped conductor and an angle between the slit and the axial direction of the cylindrical-shaped conductor becomes smaller as it goes further from a contact electrode.
