PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous ink allowing recording of an image excellent in coloring properties, light fastness and bronzing resistance.SOLUTION: An aqueous ink contains a first color material and a second color material. The first color material is a compound represented by the general formula (1) in the figure, and the second color material is a compound having a phthalocyanine skeleton. The mass ratio of the content (mass%) of the first color material to the content (mass%) of the second color material, based on the ink total mass, is from 0.01 to 1.0 inclusive.
