PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a delivery device capable of appropriately reacting even when a user is away after requiring delivery, while suppressing waste travel to improve delivery efficiency.SOLUTION: A self-propelled finisher 200 as a delivery device is detachably connected to an image forming apparatus body 100 and comprises self-propelling means. When receiving a delivery instruction together with delivery route information from the image forming apparatus body 100, the self-propelled finisher 200 performs self-propelling based on the delivery route information with holding a printed sheet sent out from the image forming apparatus body 100, and delivers the printed sheet to the delivery destination. During the self-propelling, when the self-propelled finisher 200 is notified of information indicating that a user as a recipient is away from a user usage area 2, from the image forming apparatus body 100 or an information processing terminal 20 provided in the user usage area 2 of the delivery destination, a finisher control section determines to continue or stop the self-propelling or stand by, and control the self-propelling means. |
